Brief Details of the Project:
|
|
The Pecem Industrial and Port Complex covered a total area of 23,300 hectares, out
of which the area assigned for the Urban Development was 4,400 hectares. The remaining
area covered the Industrial Complex, Port Complex, ecological, undisturbed lakes,
streams, creaks, shore line and swamps, green belts, right of way for the roads,
railroads and existing residential areas.

CV Engineering provided engineering services for the Infrastructure Study of the
Pecem Industrial Complex and Urban Development. Detailed and extensive study of
the following requirements for the Industrial Complex and the Urban Development
Area was carried out:

- Road Traffic, Railroad & Intermodal Traffic and Storm Drainage.
- Raw Water, Treated Water, Sanitary and Industrial Process Wastewater generated and
its Treatment Facilities, Domestic Solid Wastes and Industrial Byproducts, Natural
Gas and Fire Protection Water.
- Power distribution system for industrial and residential areas, telecommunication
systems for industrial and urban residential areas, and also roadway lighting and
residential area lighting for the entire development.
- Conceptual drawings showing the proposed industrial sectors and development phases,
roads, railroads, Intermodal, storm drainage patterns and final contours, process
flow diagrams for the raw water and treated water supply, sanitary wastewater and
treated industrial process wastewater and the domestic solid wastes, schematic drawings
of the distribution piping network for the raw and treated water supply, sanitary
and industrial sewer systems, the treated effluent discharge into the ocean and
the natural gas system, drawing showing all voltage levels, a single line diagram
for the entire power distribution network grid and a communications single line
concept drawing with quantities and types of fiber optic cable and equipment, were
prepared.
