CV Engineering has provided engineering and design services to SeverStal, North
America, LLC in Dearborn, Michigan for the installation of a pickle line and tandem
cold mill.

- CV Engineering has provided engineering and design services to SeverStal, North
America, LLC in Dearborn, Michigan for the installation of a pickle line and tandem
cold mill.
- Structural engineering scope includes: updating the general arrangements, electrical
rooms and embedded conduits; overseeing the layout of the utility room for both
the structural and foundation requirements.
- Mechanical engineering scope includes: building utilities,
mill water, emulsion system, acid system, high pressure and low pressure hydraulics,
lubrication, steam and condensate, pneumatics, natural gas, potable water, and sanitary
sewers.
- Electrical engineering scope includes: overall power distribution 1-line, electrical
equipment technical specifications, embedded & exposed cables & conduits (lists
and installation details) and lightning. The power distribution begins at the existing
230KV/32KV, 133 MVA dual transformers and includes all 32KV / 13.8KV / 3450 volt
/ 480 volt power transformers, switchgear, lightning protection and grounding.
